Meeting and Exceeding Regulations

Positioned to stand alone or pair with other industry efforts, the framework of our programs are unmatched.

The premium quality of our programs begin by researching and analyzing gaps, needs, and opportunities paired with our teams 20+ years of first-hand experience working directly with stakeholders in the field, collaborating with stakeholder focus groups, pilot testing new initiatives and enhancements, and building in adaptability to maintain ongoing relevance.

All of our programs meet RP 1162 requirements “and beyond” meaning that we incorporate additional industry recommendations and best practices where possible including but not limited to: RP 1173, RP 1185, CGA’s Best Practices, DIRT statistics, HMCRP Report 14, and NENA 911-Document 56-007.

Pipeline operators across the country, whether individually or in collaborative groups, co-brand and sponsor our programs as part of their baseline or supplementary public awareness efforts. Regulators have remarked that our programs stand out as “excellent” and have thanked us for providing “amazing reports” adding that our initiatives exemplify the intention of public awareness.

“I blame myself for my daughter’s death. I didn’t know there was a pipeline. Had I been aware of the hazards… I didn’t know. And I said that I was going to open a foundation for pipeline safety, to teach people…”

– Danny Smalley, Smalley Foundation Founder

Virtual Pipeline Emergency Response Scenario Exercises

Designed to elevate experience and depth-of-quality, our Virtual Pipeline Emergency Response Scenario Exercises leverage cutting-edge technology and embrace AI to provide comprehensive training and documentation solutions unique to the local pipeline and community dynamics.

This approach fosters meaningful engagement and effective learning outcomes by utilizing immersive, action-oriented tools that place emergency responders in the heart of an unfolding local and realistic pipeline emergency. Here, they encounter challenges that require urgent problem-solving, decision-making, and teamwork, generating valuable multi-agency discussions regarding expectations, resources, and manpower required to mitigate the emergency.

The School Pipeline Safety Partnership

The Foundations School Pipeline Safety Partnership program, a joint effort with the Pipeline Association for Public Awareness, was established to boost awareness, improve emergency readiness, and strengthen prevention strategies for schools located in HCA’s (high consequence areas) nationwide, particularly those within 1,000 feet or within potential impact radius of a pipeline.

This initiative has evolved into the largest, most comprehensive, and longest-running school pipeline safety program of its kind in the United States, uncovering key strategies and valuable insights for successful collaboration with school administrators.

Pipeline Safety & Awareness for Kids!

Introducing young children to the underground pipeline system is an intentional investment in creating a culture of pipeline safety.

At elementary age, children are more impressionable and rule embracing compared to older kids. Similar to various prevention initiatives, educating young children about pipeline safety offers a chance to shape their attitudes and behaviors while they are still being formed.

This one-of-a-kind program is turn-key for educators, requiring no background knowledge and very little preparation. Message integrity, reach results, and learning measurement is built into the interactive technology of the brief multimedia lesson. Structured to require very little classroom time, educators can choose to tie the program into core curriculum standards such as personal health and safety, language arts and reading, social studies, and science, just to name a few.
